The Company
Conzepke Software Service is an innovative pre-press company, which already extended its portfolio in the 80s through additional software development. Starting with database conversion programs and its own development of a typesetting program, Conzepke had early experience of document automation. In the framework of a project enquiry from Mitsubishi Conzepke decided to use the Viva Network Technology.

The Project
The Mitsubishi Aircondition Division required its existing catalogs and brochures to be produced more cheaply and in a shorter time span. It should also be possible to manage the data in several languages inorder to be able to produce simultaneously the English version and in the near future Eastern European versions of the marketing documents.

With this background a database concept was worked out in co-operation with Conzepke and VIVA to implement the complete data management through the web-based VivaGate CMS System. After collation of the data from existing XPress documents, the Templates for the automated production were created.

Since the documents are heavily laden with tables, the application of VivaIP was predestined, in order to reduce the previously very labor-intensive work in creating the tables. Almost all pages containing tables, apart from some static pages, can today be created from VivaGate fully automatically at a keystroke.

The intelligent VivaIP Templates allow an automatic recognition of the different language versions and make a short term real time production of the publications in different languages.
