Currently there is no comparable system in the world capable of fulfilling all these tasks so quickly and precisely in a highly integrated workflow. |

| How are documents produced with VIVA Network Publishing ? |
When you use VIVA Network Publishing , you can control the production of your documents yourself and make all alterations in content and design independently. All changes are made in real time or within a few seconds according to their complexity.

In contrast to previous production methods that consist of many single steps, you pass VIVA Network Publishing the data with the command, simply expressed, to build corresponding pages from it. VIVA Network Publishing takes the data, integrates it with the available templates and, depending on the configuration of the server, supplies back JPEG, PDF, EPS or even open VivaPress® files, which can be opened in VivaPress® or even in QuarkXPress® and modified. |

| How exactly does VIVA Network Publishing work? |
The kernel of VIVA Network Publishing is founded on the layout server »VivaPress Pro®«. The program is supported by various server-AddIns, such as for example the VIVA-PDF and VIVA-JPEG Generators for printing or for direct display of the documents in a web browser. Communication with the »VivaPress Pro®« server is based on the standard »COM« interface.

What is special about it is that almost any application can be used to control VivaIP, since VivaIP as a server application does not have its own interface and is therefore dependent on the transfer of data and attributes through third party programs. At the same time VivaIP can on request return the calculated data/pages to the original application (e.g. Browser, Accounting System, Booking System, etc.)

VIVA offers free of charge example projects (with source code in PHP, ASP, VisualBasic, etc.) to all interested users and customers, which show for example how data and attributes are transferred from Excel or other programs to VivaIP. Included in this collection are also example projects showing how, with the help of an Internet browser, VivaIP can be controlled directly via the Internet.

The VivaIP Server can be imagined as being rather like an Internet server: without content, the server is useless. The display of the contents, or templates, that VivaIP needs to create document pages, is produced with the help of the »VivaIP Designer«. Comparable with a graphic HTML-Editor, the template pages are designed once as in a layout program and the logic as to how certain elements of the page should behave are also defined.
